Majorca is only a couple of hours from UK airports. Flying to Mallorca is realy cheap specially in low season. Easy Jet is flying for only ?10 in low seasons.
Young holiday makers find the south of island lively and fun and North is ideal for families. The thing you should consider is the airport is located in the South and if you flying to North you must beware of long taxi transfers. It may cost you a fortune, maybe more than what you pay to your holiday!
The climate in Majorca (Mallorca) is almost identical of its sisters Ibiza and Menorca. Mild weather is the norm here for most of the year where temperatures can reach well over 30? C in the summer months. October through to Mid June bring cooler Nights.
