Is Marmaray Project Destroying the history in Istanbul?

Istanbul is an open museum with countless of historical places. When you look at Istanbul’s history it traced back some 8.000 years and many civilizations with different states, empires, which had been lived in for many centuries.

And of course those civilizations left the history behind. The history found and faced with the sunshine is very much less than what is still in the land.

Hundreds thousands of people are migrating to Istanbul every year. Most common reason is finding a job, a better life, being able to be in the center of everything etc. So when the population increasing, the traffic couldn’t be at same volume.

There are two big bridges which connecting the Europe and Asia. Now a project is going on in Istanbul which called Marmaray Project.

Since everywhere is an another history in Istanbul maintaining the work is too difficult with Marmaray Project. Even you dig a meter down you see a history which makes life hard for the engeneers of this project.

Our question is will the authorities will choose the history or complete the Marmaray Project quick as possible so to make Istanbul’s people life easy.

I don’t think I am good enough to tell you how beautiful Istanbul is. Even if I try to it would take too long and I wouldn’t have enough time to write everything i know. First thing is coming to my mind about Istanbul is its an “open museum” and its a free museum. All you need to pay is for your tickets to Istanbul. Anywhere you look is a history. Before starting our article on Istanbul, I would like to remind and warn you that you would need at least 2 weeks just to everything that Istanbul has.
